Joss W. and Nathan together again! there is a God!!
June 27th, 2008 at 5:38 pmQuite possibly one of the most diverse and effective actors of our age; Fillion’s facial expressions are quite possibly the most magnetic one could ask for in an actor.
I can’t wait to see this production and his take on the character.
June 27th, 2008 at 8:38 pmUtterly brilliant, perfect kind of occurance! As Kate said there is a god! (and he loves us ^^)
June 28th, 2008 at 12:20 amYeah!!!!! It’s better than Christmas!
June 30th, 2008 at 12:34 amhe has a great chest
July 5th, 2008 at 9:22 pmOuh yeah! Very nice to see Nathan at work again and yeah his facial expressions are simply so great and he really puts himself to his character’s and is always so awesome
Seeing Felicia with Nathan is so great
July 6th, 2008 at 5:02 pmThis is going to be EPIC.
July 13th, 2008 at 2:42 amI admire the way this great looking guy isn’t afraid to make himself look silly, or bloody, or whatever else he has to do to get the film right. Not every guy would be so secure with himself.
I do have one question though…Why is this guy not a HUGE star?

I like how this is safely online, where certain networks can’t cancel it.
Hey, I *liked* Drive.
July 15th, 2008 at 11:53 pm[...] the Evil League of Evil. Throughout the show he is defeated numerous times by Firefly/Serenity star Nathan Fillion who plays Captain Hammer. The show also has one other interesting twist…it’s a musical. [...]
July 16th, 2008 at 12:21 amI agree about Nathan’s versatility. I remember watching OLTL and thinking, “This kid isn’t going to last long here. He’s much too good.” I was right. And he can SING, too???!?!?! Holy crap…
July 16th, 2008 at 1:40 amEdmonton!! right on an Alberta boy. I have seen act one and now I desperately need a t-shirt. I don’t think there is a power in the verse that can stop me from watching this.
July 16th, 2008 at 6:33 amI love seeing Mr. Fillion’s skill displayed in the role of the douchey, self-absorbed superhero. Quite the departure from the mysterious yet awesome captain of Serenity. Playing a douche is quite different from your usual antagonist…because they don’t necessarily know they are screwing things up!
July 16th, 2008 at 9:19 pmAmazing actor of course…but also a heck of a lot of fun to look at.
July 17th, 2008 at 6:51 pmi never knew he could sing! but its great to see nathan working again….keep it going whedon to keep fillion at work
July 17th, 2008 at 9:14 pmHaving watched with interest the budding careers of messers Whedon & Fillion for some while, I now feel compelled to make the observation that in ‘Dr Horrible’ they may finally have found the vehicle that will launch their names into the stratosphere of public recognition so richly merited by their previous endeavors!
As long as the fates who rule us all continue to find ways to join Fillion’s commanding dramatic presence with Whedon’s ironic & curly toes, who shall say them nay?!
July 17th, 2008 at 11:45 pm[...] stars Neil Patrick Harris (whom I may have to add to my mancrush list; he is awesome), Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day. It’s incredibly funny, with brilliant writing, acting, and [...]
July 19th, 2008 at 5:39 am[...] of all, Nathan Fillion? Be still my beating heart. Hubby and I are both big fans of Firefly/Serenity, just not for [...]
July 19th, 2008 at 1:59 pmThree cheers for Captain Tight Pants.
July 19th, 2008 at 6:57 pmSmarmtastic. Who knew he had that much blithering idiot in him? I think I may like him better in this than in “Firefly.”
July 19th, 2008 at 9:06 pmYea, The captain is a captain again!
July 21st, 2008 at 9:49 amswoon! (followed by a faint and some smelling salts!)
I can’t wait to see Nathan again under Joss’ direction!
What a great combination, wonderful chemistry, and creative genius!
…save, of course, but only for the return of Firefly and the hooking up of Mal and Inara!
July 22nd, 2008 at 2:59 amNathan will always be known to me as Mal…and anything that has Mal in it I HAVE to watch!!!!!!!
August 13th, 2008 at 7:06 amIt is wonderful to see Nathan singing, I think it’s a brilliant musical and wish it was on the big screen.
August 25th, 2008 at 9:40 pmI am another Firefly fan and loved Nathan as Mal with his engaging charactor and his dry sense of humour. But this really is the best role he has taken since then (although he is great in everything he does!), as he such an energentic, naturally entertaining and amusing person in real life, it’s nice to see him doing something that will bring out his natural talents. I think Joss Whedon is ingenious in all his work, and hope Nathan Fillion will play many more roles for Joss in the future. Well done Joss and Nathan, Dr.horrible is a masterpiece.
Oh captain, my captain!
It’s good to see Mr.Fillion back in action. I really enjoyed the show and the attitude of Captain Hammer. MORE!
August 27th, 2008 at 1:53 pmI really enjoyed Nathan as Captain Hammer. He played him to perfection and I had no idea he could sing so well! Beautifully acted Nathan, it’s been a while since I laughed so much…and then cried (but I expected no less of Joss). Thank you Nathan and thank you Joss for your intricate wisdom in choosing Nathan.
August 30th, 2008 at 12:23 pmi am the biggest fan of him!!!
August 30th, 2008 at 11:57 pmYou are an incredible talent, You was robbed on firefly that show was killer….And yes the hammer is indeed your penis.
October 29th, 2008 at 8:20 pmPlease keep up the good work.
AHHHHHHH EDMONTON!!!!!!! I was born in Edmonton!
January 9th, 2009 at 4:07 pmNathan is back. He is really a consumate professional. You can tell he loves his work. Dr. Horrible is a historical event and we were here to see it happen.
