Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog features in spot #4 for TV.com’s “Top 100 Everything of 2008: 1-10″
10. Mad Men’s costuming, set design
9. David Letterman’s year (Leno, strike, McCain)
8. Hulu.com
7. Pushing Daisies’ production
6. The guys and girls of Gossip Girl
5. Omar Little’s farewell
4. The importance of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
The best thing to happen for television wasn’t even on television. Joss Whedon’s Web-exclusive Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog was made during the writers strike as a passion project on a shoestring budget; yet the product was one of the most entertaining of the year. We can only hope that others follow the same idea that bigger doesn’t always mean better and that sometimes the final decisions are best left to those who actually make the show, not the networks.
3. Tina Fey
2. Lost 4.05: “The Constant”
1. The expansion of HD television

Edited to add note from Joss Whedon:
Dear Horrible Fans, Hammer Groupies, Penny-Savers, Bad Ponies, Fake Thomas Jefferson’s Axe of Congress and of course the Towelettes,
It has been brought to our attention that some of you have been using your powers for good. This we can not forgive! Your fierce and effluvia-removing punishment can only be forestalled by quick and decisive action: Vote for Dr. Horrible on the People’s Choice awards site (under “Favorite Online Sensation”). Every day. This is the kind of exposure that will allow the doctor to continue his reign of hummable terror. The time is now! Actually, the time is always now. Like, right now – still now. Hmmm. Neat.
Fear us! Vote! Kisses! -Team Horrible.
