I found the correct 6-vent goggles (not the flip-up type) on ebay. They're called WISE welding cup goggles. Came from a company in Summit Station, Ohio called Wren Industrial Storage Equipment. Cost me about $12 including shipping. You can google it.

I have a question about painting them. My earlier efforts were not very successful using either silver spray paint nor model paint on the plastic flip-up bodies. Neither dried completely, and I tried brushing the paint with silver craft powder to dry it. That was a little better, but it still came off onto my fingers. What have others tried?

So, I've got about two weeks until my next convention. I was wondering if anyone has a high quality image of the Dr. Horrible Groupie t-shirt (not the Captain Hammer one like there is here) that I can print onto iron-on paper. Specifically: http://www.inadream-moviecaps.com/caps/displayimage.php?album=16&pos=566
Getting the image from that image would obviously be kinda.. blurry. I'm not sure where to find it, so I came here. Email me at kchwalisz@millikin.edu

Thanks! :3

This site http://www.eandeworkwear.co.uk has one coat that looks pretty close, but mirrored. It doesn't seem to be on sale, but for "Science coat" and "Howie coat" (which are right and left on the pictures, respectively) the one in the middle is close.
http://www.eandeworkwear.co.uk/default/howie-coat.html

If only they would have sold the middle one :P (and possibly reversed it :P

Also they have a tunic that looks almost right - but too short; http://www.eandeworkwear.co.uk/default/care-and-nursing/mens-tunics.html

Greetings all: So, on 9/25 I ordered the lab coat via www.theirongategallery.com, they charged my credit card and sent me an email receipt. No prob. Website says that it could take 10 days and maybe a little more in September and October because of Halloween orders. No prob, right ... because I ordered it so early.

Well ... it's 10/23, nearly a full month later (well over the 10 days) and I'm missing one event tonight because there is no coat. I have tried contacting them by phone -- no answer. Only one of the four email messages I've sent was ever answered, and that was last Sunday with a statement that it was coming out of tailoring on Monday, and that it would be shipped right away. It also said to cut them some slack because its so busy during Halloween.

If it shows up tomorrow, another Halloween event is saved. There are two more next weekend ... I'm not giving either of them high hopes unless I can find someone who sews to whip one up for me. At this point, I'm not sure that I can depend on the Irongate Gallery.

Does anybody else have any similar experience with them?
