Tickets to the Dr Horrible panel for the Paley Festival in LA on the 14th of April are still available. Confirmed guests for the event are Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day, Jed Whedon and Zack Whedon and others may also attend.

2003 Hugo Award Base
The 2009 Hugo Award nominations for ‘the best in field of science fiction and fantasy’ have been released today and Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog features under ‘Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form’.
Other entrants in the category are:
- “The Constant” (Lost)
- “Revelations” (Battlestar Galactica)
- “Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead” (Doctor Who)
- “Turn Left” (Doctor Who)
The winners will be announced in August.

The Streamy Award Official Nominations, “honoring the best in web television from 2008”, were announced on 14th March and Dr Horrible did extremely well with nominations in 8 categories:
- Best Comedy Web Series
- Best Directing for a Comedy Web Series: Joss Whedon
- Best Writing for a Comedy Web Series: Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, Joss Whedon, Zack Whedon
- Best Male Actor in a Comedy Web Series (separate nominations):
- Nathan Fillion
- Neil Patrick Harris
- Best Editing in a Web Series: Lisa Lassek
- Best Cinematography in a Web Series: Ryan Green
- Best Art Direction in a Web Series: Nicholas Onstad, Jesse Siglow
- Best Original Music in a Web Series: Jed Whedon
Felicia Day’s “The Guild” has also been nominated for various awards.
The winners in these categories will be chosen by the newly-formed International Academy of Web Television IAWTV.
But tomorrow, March 16th, voting will begin for the “Audience Choice” Award, so make sure you use your vote for your favourite webseries!
