July 15th, 2008 at 11:42 pmInteresting shirts, but you’re missing one. We want a t-shirt with the logo off the breast pocket of Dr. Horrible’s coat. Maybe it’s just my bad eyes, but it doesn’t quite look like a caduceus to me. My first thought was it’s the classic, mushroom cloud from a nuclear explosion with 2 snakes wrapped around it (which would make for a great villain’s logo and a wonderful minion’s t-shirt).

July 16th, 2008 at 4:18 pmThe Captain Hammer shirt is the wrong color. In the video it is clearly a dark gray, more like the color of the “Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog” shirt (maybe a little darker), but it isn’t black.
Unless this is a foreshadowing of a wardrobe change in a future episode . . . . Maybe we find Captain Hammer at the laundry too, and he washes his uniform with something black that bleeds color onto his uniform . . . . OK, so that is a stretch . . .

July 18th, 2008 at 1:03 amoh.. i didn’t notice. wash it a couple times, it’ll fade. i think his shirt is black, it’s just faded, from use, or maybe lighting? Or it’s a different brand of shirt? but seriously, after a couple of washes, a black shirt is just that colour, if you dont use colour detergent. just a thought…

Captain Hammer FAIL!
September 21st, 2009 at 11:47 amSo admin, I agree with everyone on the site. I wish to buy two matching T-Shirts (for me and my girlfriend to wear out in public together!) of the EXACT shade and style in the blog that Capt. Hammer wears.
It is CLEARLY not a faded black T-Shirt, unless it has been washed a thousand times. I have black shirts I have had for 5 years and they are not that faded.
Captain Hammer’s official shirt is a dark gray, almost blue-ish, like graphite metallic color. I will before I make my purchase, be testing my fading abilities on some black shirts I already have, but, most likely, even as HUGE of a fan of Dr. Horrible as I am, I will be purchasing the dark grey Hammer shirt from Zazzle.com, unless you guys can offer me an official gray Hammer T-Shirt, or there is a confirmed account out there of someone who has successfully faded the black shirt for sale here to the shade of grey Nathan wears. Anyone?
