826NYC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. With this in mind we provide drop-in tutoring, field trips, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications. Tomorrow, on Sunday 20th September, Dr Horrible himself, Neil Patrick Harris, will host the Emmys. It will be broadcast live and today Mr Ausiello has dropped a rather large hint in Entertainment Weekly that there’s every reason to be watching:

“Sources confirm to me exclusively that host Neil Patrick Harris will headline a Dr. Horrible-themed production number about midway through Sunday’s ceremony.”

There will be a second Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog, Joss Whedon said in a Thursday conference call with reporters to promote Dollhouse. The main question, he says, is whether he does it “on a shoe string again” or goes bigger budget and “invites other people into the process.” Either way, he promises that it won’t affect the storyline.

Dr Horrible himself t weeted about an hour ago that they had won the Emmy for ‘Outstanding Special Class – Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program’:

The Official Notice is up on the Emmy’s website and Zack Whedon posted a picture of the envelope with the result. Earlier Mo Tancharoen had tweeted pictures of the limo ride to the award ceremony and the view from their seats. And Nathan Fillion has just posted this picture of the award.

Congratulations to the whole team!
