Felicia Day confirmed in her blog at feliciaday.net that she is indeed cast in the role of Penny in Joss Whedon’s internet musical “Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog”.

“It’s an amazing experience, we’re shooting now, my toes are frozen from standing in the cold all day, but I didn’t mind a bit because it’s so damned fun working!” says Felicia. “…More talented writers of prose and music cannot be found. I can’t stop singing these songs, even the ones I’m not in. To say it’s an honor and intimidating yet inspiring at the same time would not be an exaggeration.”

Filming is due to wrap later this week.
