Think about it.

The miniseries is really short, only being 3 episodes long and a total of about 43 minutes. But it told a full-blooded story and did not leave any loose ends. And it was a really good story.

It was also very imaginitive, which is the whole idea behind independent content, to be unique and endearing.

It featured big-name actors who are usually doing TV shows or movies.

It got extremely popular and sold very well on iTunes (and I imagine it will keep selling very well)

Ultimately it was something above and beyond what other webseries before it tried to do: tell a full story broken up in small pieces and have some kind of impact on the way people look at the internet as a medium.

I think this will inspire many others to try similar projects, the viability has been proven. At last something good to come from the work stoppage (apart from a better deal for the WGA natch). It has to be said that a special set of circumstances and a special set of people conspired to bring this to our screens. It\'s a brave new world people just glad there are visionaries like Whedon et al striving to do something different.
