Got a request for a clarinet part for Freeze Ray on the LJ community. Thought I'd put it up for any clarinetists out there!

I have the entire Brand New Day vocal line and lyrics transcribed. I'll be starting on the rest of the score tomorrow.

And here I am again. I'm not a particularly amazing singer, but I didn't think the piano part was solid enough to go on its own. If anybody would like to do a proper duet with me,  give me a heads up and I'll send you a less compressed version with one of the voices removed or something. I think I look a bit silly singing with myself!

Cyrne, if you're still up for a duet, send me an email.  zak.holder @ g Mail

P.S. Brand New Day is coming along. I have about 90% of the drum track done, it actually sounds almost like a real song now. Still working on keyboard and guitar parts.

I just finished a new solo piano arrangement of My Eyes / On The Rise, for those people who can't sing both parts at once.

Brand New Day is about 60% done, will work on it this weekend.

Metal on piano: every Ben Folds wannabe's dream.

It's surprisingly effective, as odd as it sounds. It does go down all the way to low low B-flat (Bb0), so if you don't have the full 88 keys you may have to fudge some things.

Brand New Day reduced for piano/guitar/vocal

Still working on Slipping… but here's the Horrible Theme for your pleasure.

M

EDIT: I've done a pre-draft reduction of Slipping, email me if you want to play-test it. Email's at the bottom of the page.

Caring Hands (Penny's canvassing song in Act I) is up. Same music as Penny's Song, different words.

Slipping is up. Just the piano-guitar-vocal score for now. I'm still working on the full score, and the karaoke/audio tracks are based on the full score so I don't have those yet either. Stay tuned.

I just want to add my words of gratitude to paradoxmo for all the work you put in on doing these transcriptions and subsequent recordings/karaoke tracks, etc.  I only recently discovered the Dr. Horrible sensation, but have quickly become just as fanatical about it as most others, if not more. LOL  Transcribing the music was one of the first thoughts I had, but searches brought me to this forum where I discovered this thread.  I'm very impressed 🙂  and... can't wait for the completion of the remaining tunes.

Thanks again!

Hey everyone, it's another update from your humble fan musician. I just put up the piano-guitar-vocal reduction for Everything You Ever. It's a good one, I'm really happy with it. I feel like it's faithful to the original and at the same time stands as a piece of music in its own right. I'd love to hear about people's experiences playing it.

A Man's Gotta Do is also new since the last time I posted here.

As a bonus, I also put up a lead sheet with vocal lines and chords for Ten Dollar Solo (from Commentary! The Musical). I didn't have time to do a full-fledged piano reduction, but I think the song's great, and I have a version in A instead of G-sharp which is very playable on the guitar. Stacy has such a lovely voice. Hopefully we'll hear more from Groupie #2 in the sequel!

There's only a little bit left. I expect I should have all the piano scores done by late February; the only song that's missing is Everyone's A Hero which is next on the list, then one cue (the Heist Incidental). I plan to go back and work on full scores after that, as well as doing some revisions.

And as you all know by now, the URL is: http://moseslei.net/drhorrible.html

Enjoy!

Many, many updates since the last time I posted here. All the songs have some kind of karaoke track (some are piano-only, not fully orchestrated). Moist's song from Commentary! is up as well.

Ok, so this is a year or so after everybody else has forgotten about Dr. Horrible's, apparently. I'm very, very late to the party, but that doesn't mean I love it less than anybody else. I'm trying to find the sheet music, and all of paradoxmo's links are now broken. I cannot figure out a way to use them, and it's highly irritating.

Please, paradoxmo, either update the links or post them again or just send the sheets to me! (lol) but in all seriousness, I'd really like to learn the music from Dr. Horrible's, and you're the only person who seems to have taken the time to write it out, so please help.

Cheers.

Does anyone have any new information on the sheets? Maybe why they were taken down? I'd love to see them and paradoxmo seems like a guy who knows what he does so these sheets probably were the best available on the net. Would someone who downloaded the sheets mind putting them up on rapidshare?

Thanks for any responses
