Let's start our wish list now!

We know we'll get all three acts of the show, commentary, and a separate, musical commentary. Most likely we'll get a making-of feature and bloopers. What else would you like to see, to make this the most incredible Horrible DVD ever? Here's my suggestions:

An extra Dr. Horrible story, filmed for the DVD

A karoake version

Features on the people involved, fan reaction, media reaction

A feature showing the making of the Making Of feature

A small comic book (a la the Serenity comic that came bundled with the Best Buy version of the Serenity Special Edition DVD) of \"Captain Hammer: Be Like Me\"

Previews of the sequel

Ok. That was warped! I had to do math to post? Grin.

Anyway, I\'d love to see perhaps a blog with Captain Hammer\'s perspective on the world. How does he see the young lady? Maybe a blog after he meets the young lady and his own affiliations? Is there a League of Super Heroes? Is he a rogue? What does he live like? Do they do laundry in the same place but of course, due to secret identities..never know eachother.

I really loved the characters. I think this dvd would be great. I am SOOO going to buy it when it comes out.

All the stuff mentioned in the OP plus whatever else they can stuff in there. If they even make a separate, 2-disk edition stuffed to the gills, I'll buy that too. 😉

How about a mockumentry about the life and times of Captain Hammer.

That's the plan, rule the world. You and me, any day.

More than anything, I wish for the DVD to be region-free.

Viewable everywhere.

NO MORE of this \"not avilable in your country\"-stuff thats been clamping our Itunes and Hulus (whatever Hulu is about, as a European i havent been able to figure it out).

But you know what would be an ultra-cool feature: ACTUAL sing-along lyrics. Maybe even karaoke...

I am a big fan of DVD extras. I love listening to commentaries by Joss Whedon.

I like some extras better than others. I am more interested in why the movie was made rather than how it was made.

I want to here about the philosophy, psychology and science. Especially about the monomyth, mysticism and esoteric science. Give me all about the analogy and the applicability of the content.

I like Joss Whedons commentaries to Buffy 422 Restless and Firefly; Objects in Space.

I would like all panel discussions and interviews to be included.

Examples of DVD extras i realy like are:

  • The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring - Appendicies - Part one - From Book to vision - J.R.R. Tolkein - Creator of Middle-Earth
  • The Ultimate Matrix collection - The Matrix Experience - Roots of the Matrix - Return to Source: Philosophy & the Matrix

(Those above are the full titles of the box, disc and title of the documentary.)

And that's about it. Realy good extras are rare in my opinion.

I\'d love to see the Comic-Con panel in it\'s entirety. And any outtakes. Can\'t wait to see/hear Commentary!

Blu-ray.

Must have.

Think of all the GB worth of extras that could be on that. Heck. Apple/PC games like “Stop” Capt. Hammer with the Freeze Ray, puzzles like fix the transmatter ray, beat up Dr. Horrible — Hammer Style, Drive the Van (including hit the van with the remote client device and avoiding Capt. Hammer's arrival on the scene), Laundry (don't use too much softener, add the bleach at the right time — do it right and Penny will admire you!), help Capt. Hammer in psychological recovery.

Just crazy, wild ideas thrown out there.

The gamut determines the acceptible range of conditions. It's Genius' Awesome Sauce in an 8oz. glass bottle with a cork stopper.

Closed Captioning

On everything.

The blog, the commentary, the Making Of, all of it. Don\'t be like 90% of producers who think closed-captioning is fine for the feature but somehow not needed for Special features.

Thanks.

Anything that Joss has in his head (no matter how scary a place that is). How about Joss interviewing Dr. Horrible and Capt. Hammer (unscripted), that would be a hoot! Or, how about out-takes...there has to be some insane stuff on the cutting room floor.

Amen to that.  Everything seems to indicate filming this was a lot of fun for all concerned, so the outtakes should be choice.

Hi Guys I was at Comic con last week and I think Jed Whedon said that fans could send send in their applications to The Evil League of Evil that could end up on the DVD release. Does anyone know more about this?

Obviously, a sing-along track is in order. 😀

Wouldn't it be great to include bios of all of the villians we see in Act 3?

ummm... all of the above?  🙂

especially the suggestion that they include the entire filming of the Comic-con panel. Which brings me to my next suggestion: tons of behind-the-scenes stuff, especially any footage of NPH having to sing along to \"Brand New Day\" super-fast in front of a green screen for the godzilla-like scene. That would be awesome.

I know bloopers for sure! When Captain Hammer said \"And these....aren't the hammer. (exit stage right) (enter Stage right) \"The hammer is my penis.\" I could just see Dr. Horrible trying his best not to laugh. I want to see him bust out a few times at that.
