personally the idea of a primetime action-dram-edy musical has an odd appel to me. admittedly there would be some setbacks, notibly writing catchy music on a per episdoe basis for a season length show. i think it could be done. i could see trying to slow down the process by reducing the show length, or limit to say 5 or less songs an episode.

They way he whipped that rather bulky weapon out from under his lab coat reminded me of Buffy's cell phone in the season-7 opener. She would reach behind her and produce the phone, even though there was nowhere in her tight-fitting clothing that she could have concealed it. They mentioned that on the commentary. Gotta love artistic license.
