I was wondering if there will ever be Karaoke tracks of the songs available, hopefully on a physical CD version of the soundtrack or the DVD… I would love to do Karaoke of "Brand New Day" sometime
Ashes to ashes,

YESSS!! I just requested Dr. Horrible Karaokee tracks from a the guy who runs karaokee at the pub I work at… it would be AMAZING!
I work with a couple guys at a different job who also love Dr. Horrible, and we sing along to it all the time, so we would do a good karaokee version… hopefully it comes out!

Hi everyone, I've just posted a karaoke version of Brand New Day to my website: click here. I'm hoping to eventually do all the songs.
Hope you enjoy it!

Awesome job!
Your pitch is nice and stable… you have a great handle on the effects for the choruses… nice job on the backing too

I'm working on "Everything You Ever" as my 2nd karaoke track, and I'm having one hell of a time reproducing the funny sounding instrument playing the melody during the scene where Dr Horrible is walking slow-motion through the club full of people to get to the room Bad Horse is in. Anyone know what the heck instrument that is? Right now I'm using a wah-wah effect on a bassoon doubled by an tenor sax, but it's not quite the same…since this is a melody line I'd like to get the timbre right.

I actually hear it as a Bassoon mixed with a male vocal "ah" sound, and a wah effect.

Ah, ok…well I don't have any choir/vox generators in my library, so I guess I"ll just have to play around some more with the wah effect. :-/

Again, great job No singing in your recording on this song? Your last post had the vocals recorded as well… was interested in hearing your rendition
You've got a good ear, and quite the handle on what you can do with the limitations of the Garage Band software. Kudos!

Hi.. aLL…
I've got something to ask..
I've made a dvd compilation video songs with adobe premiere. I'm trying to make it a karaoke version by separating the channels, left for only music, right for music and vocals.
Unfortunately, when I play it on a DVD player connected to TV, the L/R button is not working. The forbidden symbol appears. Is there something I shouLd do, before rendering or burning into DVD disc ?
..and another thing, not aLL DVD pLayer (especiaLLy samsung) couLd pLay it..
thx
