Anyone else notice that after the Freeze Ray wears off and Captain Hammer is singing his "Wayyyy" that he's flipping the bird at Dr. Horrible?   Love the little touches.

I have heard many people defend his singing "wayyy" instead of "own way" as it being a conclusive way to end the song without using the word own rather than it being a flaw.  I have heard many songs end like this, although none specifically come to mind.

I think the point is that he's saying its not a flaw at all. I agree, the directors and creators probably had a long sit and think session before comming to the final descion.

It wasn't an flaw. As a singer, if you listen to the way his notes are going up before he's frozen, his "waaaaaay" matches what would have been the concluding note.

"Everyone's a hero in their own way… Everyone's a hero in their way!"

If he would have said "own way" again, he just would have been repeating himself instead of ending the song.

I actually just listened to it on Youtube (didn't have time to unravel headphones or to start up itunes lol) but you can hear the word Own very quietly as hes frozen so its like "Everyone's a Hero In Thier….(quietly)own…(after Slipping) WAAAYYYY

so yeah, i believe there is an Own in their, not sure though
