There are already tons of topics about “Discuss what you thought of it”, “Interpretations of it”, and so on, so I wanted to touch on something else.
Did anyone else find it hilarious that Bad Horse was actually a horse? That had me cracking up.

I thought it was hysterical. I thought there were a ton of really funny moments in Act III that have been overlooked via the drama. My favorite one….
“This world is going to BURN! BURN!…..yeah, it’s two ‘r’s’ H-o-r-r….BURN!!
Neil Pattrick Harris IS brilliant!

That was awesome. Although I was hoping to hear his terrible death whinny.

Yeah I mean, after all we did get to here Dr. Horrible’s laugh when he revealed himself to the crowd, which I thought he did quite well on and was actually kinda proud. Seems like those coaching lessons actually paid off!

No actual sound could live up to NPH’s portrayal of the emotional impact of Bad Horse’s whinny: Bad Horse has to remain silent.

I knew Bad Horse was always going to be an actual horse, but it still made me crack up to actually see it.
My other favourite part was when Captain Hammer goes “I'm in pain! I think this is what pain feels like! Oh mama! Someone maternal!” crying all the time.
That had me in tears of joy. And then seeing him on the psychiatrists couch gave me that little bit of amusement in a song that was actually quite depressing.

I also loved the fact that the Hammer’s groupies completely left him and were converted to Dr. Horrible, especially since he actually grabbed the one by the face and talked directly to her.
Well, I think I just found the groupies hillarious in general:
“They say she works with the homeless and doesn’t eat meat…we have a problem with her.”
“We do the weird stuff!”

Call me slow, but I thought Bad Horse was someone else. In the party we see Dr Horrible walk through the doorway with the cowboy messengers doing their thing and then Dr Horrible greets a man in a shiny purple suit and cowboy-ish hat…I thought that was Doctor Horrible because of the way that shot is set up. Was I the only one who was mislead there?
Anyway, I figured it out in the end. My excuse I was still too stunned by the ending - I still am really.

See, when he was talking about Bad Horse for the first time, with the cowboy themed chorus and all, I'd been thinking that he was likely a REALLY sinister looking cowboy themed villain. Like all black cowboy apparel with a large hat, one of those huge curly moustaches, and always shown only in silhouette with flames in his eyes maybe. Possibly he'd be called that because he rides on top of a very evil looking horse (a dreadsteed?). The kind of villain that if you saw him on the streets, you'd probably crap your pants on the spot.
Instead, it's just a regular horse. Not even a particularly evil looking horse. That can write letters and use phones apparently. And that made it five times funnier.
