His character on that show "Barney" is legendary. The show itself is hilarious. It's on CBS Mondays at 8. And it's followed by The Big Bang Theory (Moist's tv show).

Here are some clips. Check it out…

P.S: I swear, I'm not in any way affliated with the show, CBS or NPH. I'm just a huge fan of NPH, Whedon, Firefly and HIMYM.

P.P.S: Penny's webshow, "The Guild" is hilarious too. http://www.watchtheguild.com/

P.P.P.S: It doesn't need mentioning but Whedon and Captain Hammer's show "Firefly" is the best thing ever made in the history of the human race, and quite possibly the universe.

No, Firefly is INDEED the greatest thing ever made in the history of the universe.

Dr. Horrible comes close.

Buffy IS great, but it had it's share of flaws (many lapses in logic, some lame plots and story arcs). Firefly was pitch perfect thru and thru.

I definitely had to agree there. Because Firefly is just so awesome, I finally gave in and watched Buffy… I know all you big fans might not agree, but the first two seasons were not that great. The only thing that kept me watching was (1) the characters themselves were of course very well done, so I wanted to see what would happen to them, (2) Firefly was so fantastic and Whedon fans are such strong Buffy proponents I figured it must get better eventually, and (3) I had heard there was a musical episode, which I was looking forward to, and figured I should watch everything in order so I would understand plot points, character development, etc.

It did eventually get better, and I would probably say now that I am almost as big a Buffy fan as a Firefly fan (Browncoats rule!), but you gotta admit the beginning was weak. If you think about how much Buffy improved over seven seasons, even with a weak start, can you even imagine how amazing Firefly would have been? It was amazing from the start!

And yes, HIMYM does rock! NPH is awesome, as is the rest of the cast. If you haven't seen it before, you can access the occasional full-length episode through Hulu (which actually redirects you to the show's website). There are usually around 4 episodes streaming. And I think reruns are playing on tv right now too.

Dollhouse will be on at the same time as HIMYM & Big Bang Theory.

Dr Horrible & Moist vs. the Whedons: who'll win?

I have to agree, FIREFLY is by far the best tv show ever made !

It was never shown over here in Germany and I only discovered it via the net/DVD.  Since than I became an FF activist, convincing every intelligent creature that I could get hold of to watch the show ;)

I am a nerd when it comes to TV series, and because of the possibilities of the net I have seen LOADS. I really tried (several times) with Buffy and Angel but honestly, maybe sadly, never worked for me.

Queer as Folk is the other show besides FIREFLY that touched me emotionally. The acting is superb, specially Gale Harold as Brian Kinney is absolutely incredible.

FIREFLY – thats like a raw diamond in the tv verse and its so shiny it even doesn´t need any polishing.  The chemistry amongst the cast is perfect, the dialogues are sooo smart that you want to quote them again and again and again. And all the stories are heartfelt; I actually took a lot from it.

HIMYM ist funny as hell, and very, very, very entertaining to watch.

From the new US shows I love Pushing Daisies, I think the word adorable was invented for this show. And I like "The IT crowd" from the UK, hillarious.
