Perfect choice. Is there anything else to say?

Used to adore him as Doogie and now it’s all been rekindled!
Think I’m in love again!
He’s just perfect in the part.

He’s really an excellent choice…very funny and heartwarming in the part. I haven’t seen him in much before, but I was surprised to find out he was on Broadway and can sing so well.

I must sadly admit that I had never been able to shake the “grown-up Doogie” image. Given the previews, I expected this image to fit right in.
I was wrong. Now, I can gladly say that I've seen a dynamic range that just impresses the heck out of me. I want to see more. If this is what ME can do with him, by all means bring him in on another project.

NPH is so incredibly talented. I'm so happy he got that Emmy nod this year, he really deserves it.
I never had the Doogie problem because I never watched the show, but I just adore him in everything he does. So talented.

Hadn’t known he’d done musicals or theater; great performance. Surprisingly (to me) excellent singing voice. The duet between him and Felicia Day in Act II is better than most musical stuff you see on TV (Eli Stone, for example, when they aren’t using a pro like George Michael — not to denigrate Eli Stone) ….and better than or as good as what you can find in many movies.

Neil’s performance was incredible. Not only is his voice superb and sent pleasant chills up and down my spine, but his acting range and that wonderful way he is like a chameleon and seems to change frame by frame…it’s amazing. Especially amazing was the one scene I can’t get out of my head…the one when he’s frowning after Captain Hammer basically says the bit about the hammer is his penis…when the frown simply melts perfectly into a wicked grin before he sings about Captain Hammer’s imminent demise. That was genius.
If you read this Neil, thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. It is a formidable one, without a doubt.
Sincerely,
Hope

Totally in agreement with you here….
my two favorite bits from the whole thing involve NPH - one is that smile - so fantastic to see and the other is in the first song as he leans across to Penny and ’stops the world’ as she’s pouring her laundry into the washer…. I just want that as my screensaver albeit and audio-screensaver to be repeated ad infinitum… who can do that for me?

I love all the little things NPH gives us, the nervous blinky thing, the shoulder dancing thing, the finger dancing thing, the multitude of facial expressions presenting everything from evil to joy to despair… the singing goes without saying… yup, very happy, very happy indeed.

It’s from the new season (starting in most areas in early August). It was filmed sometime earlier this year, apparently.

It was exactly at that moment (and the song following) that my libido went, “Holy guacamole, Neil Patrick Harris is HOT! Why wasn't I informed earlier?”
…Yes, I know. A girl can still look.

I had never seen him in anything before, but loved him as Dr. Horrible. Struck me as more cute (in the 'aww, look at him! I want to hug him!' sense) than hot, personally, which made him a very nice Billy and perfected the dorky patheticness of Dr. Horrible's introductory blog post. (Well, I found him oddly attractive in that one shot where he's pulling on his glove at the end and clenches his fist slowly, but perhaps that's just me having a fit of girls-like-the-bad-boys syndrome.) He was great in the role and his voice is awesome.

Favority NPH moment in DHSB?
Hmmm…
I'd have to say: When he gives that strangled “huh?” look at CH's spiel about curtains and the following expressions when he is introduced to the hood of the van a few times. Seconded by the Hammer-wedgie. Thirded by the soup-kitchen scene. Fourthed by the two expressions preceding the first songs in Acts I and II. Fifthed by the expression to Moist's catch-phrase question. Sixed by “I love the… air”. Seventhed by when he's about to stomp on CH. Eigthed by “slipping away” and the ensuing chaos.
