Well, what's there to say about Neil Patrick Harris? He's so cool, he makes me almost wish I were gay…if only.
(note: please don't take what I just said too seriously)

I'd never seen him in anything else, (Actually… I didn't know he existed, to be honest. *Bangs head with palm* … Please don't judge me, I'm only fourteen.) so once I saw him in Dr. Horrible, I was completely blown away, and a whole new body of his work opened up to me. I soon fell in love with his role in Assassins due to an ITunes recommendation after I bought the DHSB soundtrack, and then I started watching, and laughing hysterically at, How I Met Your Mother.
Like everyone else has said, his facial expressions are gold, his voice is gorgeous, his delivery and timing are impeccable, and his scenes still make me chuckle or tear up after multiple viewings. All in all, the guy is just marvelous.

Bah. He's so cool it doesn't matter if he's gay regardless if we are or not. It's non-issue where he's involved (something I've been wanting to see for years).

When someone can go from innocent, sad, rage and creepy believably, I'm all up-ons on that. I had been expecting Doogie Howser and believing it would fit just fine in the role, but I totally missed the mark on that. That was not Doogie Howser. Doogie would not be able to perform DHSB anywhere near the quality that NPH used.
I recently saw Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. NPH was awesome. I'm told that NPH in Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is supposed to be even more awesome.

I know, that's why I said "please don't take what I just said too seriously," because it's not an issue.
Anyways, Neil Patrick Harris is the entire reason I started watching How I Met Your Mother about 2 weeks ago. It's hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard in ages.

I remember watching Doogie Houser when it was new, but hadn't seen Neil Patrick Harris in anything else since until Dr. H.
Now, I've seen all episodes of HIMYM and the most recent Harold and Kumar movie. He's brillient in everything!
I've also managed to watch all of Firefly (had only seen a few episodes before) and Serenity (watched it once before seeing Firefly), and all of the Guild. Now, I'm starting in on Buffy. Dr. H is so addictive, it's sent me in search of everything the participants have done before.

Aha, same. I started my quest for anything Joss Whedon, NPH-related, so that's how I was led to watching Firefly.

Oh, and how can I forget his roles in the Harold & Kumar movies? The unicorn was priceless… (At this moment, I'm extremely tempted to go on a string of his quotes, but I don't want to ruin the first impact for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. SO awesome. Oh, and by the by, I urge everyone who watches that movie to watch past the credits. Trust me, it's worth it.)

What was weird about that is that I found I watched several JW stuffs and didn't realize it. I did not know that BtVS movie was his writing (and I was never a fan of the series nor the spinoff of Angel so who did those wasn't a big deal to me). I didn't know he wrote Alien: Ressurection. I didn't know he did the screenplay for Titan A.E. I have no idea what "treatment" is for Atlantis: The Lost Empire, but I've seen it… but I didn't really care for it. TAE was okay. I (probably a small few) liked A:R.

He was just in "Prop 8: The Musical" He's really funny, and anyone who likes Dr. Horrible, or is against Prop 8 should check it out.

I have to agree the evil smirk scene is the best out of them all. I love that scene I must of watched it 25 times alone. I also love the "Whatever" face just cuz it was funny.
Best two lines in the whole show for me.
"Really what a crazy, random, happenstance." and "Go ahead and laugh. Yeah I'm a funny guy!"

I am The Green Dragon I leave no trail behind. I go about my evil deeds without stressing my mind. No one has ever caught up to me as they say. Then again people fear me more and more each day. |

FINALLY!
people who share my love!
i have been obessively hooked on How I Met Your Mother for a year now and am practically tearing my hair out that i CANNOT see past season 2 (i'm british, we dont have season three) and obessively hooked on NPH. The link is of him playing Tobais in Sweeney Todd and singing "Not While I'm Around" http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CZt0A4-d7Kk- it actually made me cry, no joke.
my little sister thinks i am clinically insane to have a crush on him, but whats not to like?
is there anyone who dares to claim he is not an amazing actor? the cute and innocent blinkly thing in the middle of a song where he enjoys his descent to evil? that smile before brand new day? the look of loss during Penny's Death????
anyone else hoping Whedon-Harris is the new Burton-Depp?
sorry about the long answer!!!

I first discovered Neil when he appeared on Ellen; I now faithfully watch How I Met Your Mother and constantly watch Dr. Horrible. And yes, he is HOT!
BTW- I could barely watch that video of him on Sesame (spelling…?) Street! Hahaha…
