Here's my problem.

I was able to get a Howie style labcoat from britain, and I'll admit it, that while it doesn't look perfect, it still looks pretty dang spiffy.

My problem is that I wish to make the red doctor horrible's outfit.  I've got the goggles, the boots, the gloves, and the pants… but my coat is 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

Is there a way to dye it where the color will work?  Everything I've read about dying a poly/cotton blend has been negatory.
