The Tilman welding gloves can be found at most hardware stores, or ordered individually for about $10-$20 if you find the right store:
http://www.brweldingsupplies.com/brands/Tillman/brand_details.cfm?product_id=446&ID=27
Use some sandpaper to take the logo off the back. Try using white leather dye first, then buffing with the sandpaper (haven't tried the later).
I've had a few pairs of these for a couple of years, used for grilling

The logo is still visible on his gloves, it's just hard to see. Look closely in Act 3 when he's knocked to the floor!

Hmm, I'll see what I want to do – I just got the gloves a few minutes ago! Now the boots and goggles should arrive tomorrow..

Been trying to find the "ELE Dr. Horrible" gloves lately. So far the closest thing that I've been able to find as far as length, color, and style has been these: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/2AN06
While they look short in the picture, the description suggests they are elbow length. The same site as the same gloves in 12 inch and 14 inch. I really don't know how the 3 would look next to one another.
I know they areb't exact to the ones Horrible uses.. the cuff part seems to be made of the same material as his white ones but so far trying to find gloves like them is difficult. Use it as a base though!

We had a terrible time finding anything comparable to the black gloves. After extensive analysis, we have come to the conclusion that the black gloves are just the white gloves dyed black and the hands look rubbery because they were tool dipped. You can still see the original seams through the tool dip. As tool dip is pretty expensive, we haven't tried it out yet. If anyone trys this…. please let me know and post some pictures… I would like to see how they turn out.

I used some white acrylic paint that was slightly watered down, and painted it on with a fine brush. If I were doing it again I'd probably mix in a little black or gray to get it to better match the color of the gloves.

I tried sandpaper first, and that faded it a fair amount — now they look worn rather than new, but the logo is still very visible. I also tried acetone (nailpolish remover) and isopropyl to no effect. Possibly the leather dye is the best solution. Either that or some stronger solvent.

On this site the 1st and 6th items on the list look like they could do for ELE gloves. It seems from the pictures at least that the 6th are more shiny. there are also ridiculous full arm length gloves which amuses me.
