Wheden has said he's so busy working on Dollhouse he has no time. But maybe Maurissa and Jed would do it?

Gah! Never a direct answer from Mr. Whedon (the Joss one).

It all goes out the window as soon as he said “Neil needs to work on his singing.” Was he joking only then or for the whole statement?

Someone mentioned that statement earlier, but I can't remember where that was. I said that “wouldn't be simple” meant “would be a bigger, more-complex project” and “wouldn't be soon” meant “can't say anything else lest the fans beat down my door demanding that it be finished already within a week from now”.

Then I said something about optimism. My memory stinks.
