Ridiculous. How can so much quality spring from a one mind. Every time I think I may have ascertained the full extent of joss's ability to create he quickly dispels any such misconceptions. From buffy, the gold-standard of what a genre show can and should be, right into angel and firefly (and serenity) each a wonderful mosaic of clever writing, picture perfect casting and an eye for engrossing story arcs (willow's transformation over the course of buffy's entire run is quite simply the single most subtle yet powerful character arc i have ever witnessed). Not just television and film either; he brings his creations to life on the page in buffy season 8, angel season 6, fray, serenity: those left behind, etc. This latest work appears to have moved the bar yet again. I eagerly await the first installment (and dollhouse!).

thanks for writing.

Actually, it can all be explained in a rather simple forumla:

zn=(zn-1)²+c; where z and c are complex numbers of one real vector and nine imaginary vectors, and z0=0, and c is a 10-dimensional vector in the form of a compex number of the exact location, direction, facing and time for when, where and how Mr. Whedon (the Joss one) was concieved. n, then, represents the consecutive moments of coalesced creativity from that initial z0. That merely proves that the predictability of his creativity is impossible and will either settle into a semi-pattern without repetition, collapse into a singular notion or explode into infinity (once zn reaches an absolute value of 4 or greater, though greater than 2 has, so far, proven to also be a guarantee).

See?

It's getting to the point where I almost fear his next work.  If he messes too much more with my psyche, I may end up in a mental ward just singing Joss songs and watching/reading his material.  Not that it will stop me from catching Dollhouse or anything else he ever does.  There is nothing, absolutely nothing better than the works of Whedon.

Are you sure you’re not already there?

You just might want to skip Dollhouse, then. It has the potential to be a real mind-[mess]er.
