Hey forum bods.

I'm working on the British sitcom “The IT Crowd” and am also a big fan of Dr Horrible. Hopefully you've all heard of it. We recently sent posts out across the net asking fans of the show for suggestions to dress the set with. I've been the poor b*stard who's had to trawl through the mounds of responses and one of the most common suggestion is for references to Dr Horrible. So I emailed Mutant Enemy. Have they replied? No, they have not. Hopefully they just missed the email, and the second one, and don't hate the show (it seems pretty popular with most geeks/techies/etc I know or have heard from).

If you love The IT Crowd and want to see a ref to Dr Horrible on it, HELP ME ATTRACT THEIR ATTENTION!!! Post here, send emails yourself, and let's get it on TV to be viewed by the world.

Thanks.

I already did this as soon as I saw it on Graham Linehan's blog. You might try sending a message to Jedd on ther official myspace.

I've put the feelers out: http://whedonesque.com/comments/17551

I can provide a PO Box postal address for ME if needed.  Contacting Jed via Myspace as suggested is probably the way forward, though.  There's also Joss' assistant.

You might want to hold off on doing this until it's actually available for viewing in Britain. (Or at least available for sale via ITunes or DVD). Otherwise you're just encouraging people to pirate Dr. Horrible.

I wouldn't worry about that – I think it's pretty safe to say that by the time the show airs, DH'll be available in Britain.

from this thread i learnt that there is to be a new series of the IT Crowd. if only the producers would update the Channel 4 website to indicate this or anywhere where people look to find out about these things. i thought the show had been cancelled as its been a while since the last series. maybe a bit too long perhaps?

If you look on Graham Linehan's blog http://whythatsdelightful.wordpress.com there's a lot of info about the new series of the IT Crowd, and if you want to be in the audience for one of the tapings you can go to http://www.sroaudiences.com

A note from the site Admin.

Our message board has been causing issues with server load. We've just streamlined everything in hopes of resolving the issue but if it doesn't make enough difference the forums will have to go offline indefinitely. We recognise that at times the forums may not seem busy based on # of new posts but the forum does get a lot of visitors who don't post and that contributes to the problem. Should the problem persist we'll have to look at our options for a more robust hosting solution but costs will likely exceed $60/month and we'll have to look at ways of raising the funds to pursue that option should it be required.
