Whedon had the exact effect on his Firefly fans he wanted. He got us to appreciate Webshows as a medium.
Naturally, I watched the entire first season of Penny's show "The Guild" and was blown away by how good it was.
So now I'm hunting for other good web series. Any recommendations?

I would recommend "Sanctuary" Starring Amanda Tapping. Theres no link to Dr. H. And I've only seen the first 4 episodes as there free, but after that you have to pay for them. But it looked pretty good.

I wasn't impressed by Sancturay (seemed too serious), or a lot of webepisodes I've seen the past few days.
The Guild was awesome. Quarterlife seems fun from what I've seen so far. Red vs Blue Season 1 was solid. I'm sure there is more gold out there to mine for. I'm still looking for it.

Oh this one other web show "Trunk" was good too. And rather short. 15 minutes total.
Oh the series "You Suck at Photoshop" is hilarious and very creative.

God, Inc. is pretty damn funny. I think it was picked up by the Sci-Fi channel.

Hi there! Been lurking round this site before during and after launch of Dr. Horrible, finally registered not sure why I hadn't previously!
I recommend Captain Blasto http://www.captainblasto.com/
Quirky fun show. Nice writing and acting. I love seeing cool stuff like this circumventing mainstream media

I recommend looking the series of "How I met your mother".
Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible) has one of the main roles there and does a really good job. It's awesome, believe me

Jenni Powell's (et al.) "LonelyJew15".
Known her for years. Haven't kept in touch, but I still watch this and her other stuff.
(Of course, I was introduced to The Guild from here and The Legend of Neil from The Guild. There're other referenced works that I'll be scoping once I get more time.)

OMG!
Thank you for the plug! I think it's time we get back in touch.
If you enjoy parody series, check out the Independent Comedy Network's "2/8th Life". They have some other fun original series as well.

Ok, I'm trying to work out how to watch Lonelygirl15, but – where do I start? Nothing on the website indicates where the *first* video is or what order I should watch them in.
