Hey yeah - there's no doubt the place will go nuts when the showing is announced.
For my own part, soz haven't been around so much. Busy at work and CSTS starting to kick into gear and all… work, work, work…
On the good news front (totally unrelated to the topic thread as usual, aside the fact it seemed to be an opening for a bit of discussion), seems we're going to get a fair bit of leverage off Gencon for the CSTS event in Brisbane.
Can you believe the timing - Gencon finishes at 4pm on Sunday July 6, and CSTS is at 6:45pm on that night. The events are only about 5 train stops apart as well…
And how's this? - the Guests of Honour at Gencon are Tracy and Laura Hickman - wrote the Out In The Black RPG and huge BCs… how cool is that?! They're gonna be in Brisbane on the weekend of CSTS… anybody got their number so we can invite them along?
And funny thing, through a total quirk of fate I just found out today that my best mate's little sister is one of the main organisers of Gencon. So 3 of us running CSTS Brisbane have put our names down to volunteer at Gencon and they've agreed to put 10,000 flyers into the showbags at the event - we've totally infiltrated Gencon
Hehe… sorry none of this is really Doctor Horrible stuff… but I'm just really excited about how things are panning out there… thought I'd take the opportunity while we're waiting for news to share a bit about another part of the Whedon / Fillion 'verse…
