Hey folks,

I've made a rough but reasonably accurate and playable piano/guitar/vocal transcription of Perfect Story So They Say. I'm actually a copyist (and composer/arranger), so even rough transcriptions are meticulous, but most of the stuff I've worked on isn't this fun (-:  I'd love a chance to work on a musical like this.

It sounds decent with a piano, but without the drums the rhythm can get unsteady if you're not careful.

The usual disclaimer applies… I don't own this music, I've only transcribed it for fun and of course, I'll take it down if the composers would like me to.

I'm also planning to make a string quartet arrangement of this and some other Dr. Horrible songs– if any LA string players are interested in reading some Dr. Horrible for quartet, please get in touch with me!

EDIT: I caught a mistake, second chord in bar 12 (and similar spots) should be C#-F#-B, not F#-G#-B. Corrected copy now up at the same URL. Also, I transposed it to G for ease of playing/singing.

EDIT 3 (2008-09-02): I broke the links when I revised So They Say (now fixed). It's actually now much better than when I originally wrote this post.
