The first time I watched Commentary, I was a little undecided on the whole concept. But now that I watched it a few more times, I think the songs are brilliant!

This is a tall order, but someone (or many someones) has GOT to help decipher and post the lyrics of Commentary. As I've only listened to it once so far (as to not incur the wrath of the not-obsessed in my house), I have been unable to rewind and pause to my heart's desire in order to start doing this myself. Some of the lyrics were like a foreign language the first time through so I hope to find much more funny by learning the lyrics. So if anyone wants to help, it would be much appreciated.

I doubt they will release a soundtrack, though if they did I'd buy it. For now I'm working on cutting up the audio track into pieces to make .mp3 files out of the songs, as well as the talking pieces in-between. If played without pauses, it would be just like listening to the track off of the DVD.

I am so happy to hear this , as my wife and I had a lot of trouble getting what was sung especially when they were all singing together.

These songs are as catchy as the originals songs, I'm so glad I made MP3s from Commentary! I've been listening to it all day. A real treat would be an official soundtack of these songs.

Okay, hours and shredded tendons later, I've finished transcribing the entire "Commentary!: The Musical". If anyone has good suggestions for lyrics I've mis-heard or left out, just comment. I'll probably have to go in and edit a little more, but it's looking pretty good so far.

I got my DVD Monday night, but didn't get around to seeing it until now. It's been a busy holiday season.
Anyway, "Commentary: The Musical" makes this DVD the greatest entertainment bargainin years…better than "The Dark Knight" or even Rifftrax.
I want to know who was "Steve" in the song sung during the credits? He may have had a lisp, but his singing was from the heart.
Also, if Moist had a song cut from the musical, maybe he could have had a deleted scene all his own for the DVD.

Steve is Steve Berg, the tall man who played Groupie #3. He does have a lisp and you can hear it in the original songs of Dr. Horrible — "Four sweater vests"
