There have been a number of Twitters and other reports live from Comic Con (apparently) saying that Jed Whedon says there will indeed be a Dr Horrible Act IV.
Of course, we'll need to verify this info when it's possible.

The way I interpet those quotes from the allmighty Weadon, he doesnt really say "Act IV" but rather "Full-Blown Sequel", "New Season In Multiple Acts" or, possibly, "Spin-off".
Wich is even more Squeee-worthy.
Also.

"I’m older, and balder/wiser than when I made Firefly, and I approach things differently. I take it one episode at a time. And any episode we don’t get out…I can make stuff on the internet now!"
Just reading that warmed me to the cockles of my heart…and made my brain go "squeeeeeeee!" I'm sure there is more than just a little bit of discussion happening amongst the studios about this little Dr.Horrible thing. You don't break the internet and show up as #1, #2 and #3 in iTunes and nobody notices. By the way, people who were bitchin' about the decision to go to iTunes, have you any idea how many people have iTunes? Have you any idea how many people who never heard of Firefly/Serenity or never got into Buffy/Angel are now big ol' geekfans of Dr. Horrible? There's a new day dawnin'….and we've seen the first rays of sunlight.

I am a fan of Joss Whedon's Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible, X-men comics, and Toy Story (he wrote the story). I do not have iTunes nor do I have an Ipod. I use a Zune. So when the show went to iTunes ONLY, I was a bit sad. It should also be available on Amazon Unbox. The fact that many things go to i Tunes exclusively makes me mad.

You use a Zune? Sorry. So sorry. Actually, I hear they're nice, but I believe iPod owns the marketshare, hense the decision to go with iTunes. Many people who don't have iPods have iTunes. It's free. You can subscribe to tons of content that's free, including podcasts. The whole idea is to make sure the most people are exposed to your product. You don't release the first internet TV show on ZuneMarketplace. You first go to iTunes. Maybe it'll be made available on AmazonUnbox next. You never know…
Pssst….Frankly, since you insist on using a Zune, if I was you, I'd find Dr. Horrible in a format that's compatible with your Zune. (They're out there and they're free. You're clever. You'll find one. ) Then when the DVD comes out show Joss some love and buy it.

I am looking forward to what Joss Whedon does with the Dr. Horrible show. I love all the things he has done before so no wonder I fell in love with this. Dr. Horrible is win enough said.
