Kids Need to Read are auctioning a set of Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog figurines.   The figurines are five inches tall, hand cast in resin, hand painted, and made especially for the purpose of the auction.

You will receive one Captain Hammer (signed by Nathan Fillion), one Dr. Horrible and one Penny figurine, each signed on the foot by the artist.

Only four sets have been created. Nathan Fillion, Joss Whedon and Jenny Wolf (the artist) have a set, and now you can own the fourth.

Nathan Fillion was given the first Captain Hammer figurine when he appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show in March 09.

Kids Need to Read is a 501(c)(3) organization that assists in making make books available to under funded schools and libraries to give all children the opportunity to enjoy the world of books and inspire imagination.  KTNR was founded by author PJ Haarsma and Nathan Fillion.  You can read more on their website.
